It also has superior media library browsing and playlist features compared to the others.

I found this app to be more stable than the others and much easier to configure and customize. I tried quite a few of them until I settled on Vectir PC Remote Control. To my surprise I found a number of universal PC remote control apps in the Google Play store. While searching for a remote control for my new HTPC (Home Theater PC) the thought crossed my mind that I may be able to use my Android phone or tablet as the remote.
